Hopecrest Academy

We are Hopecrest Academy comprising of Hopecrest College and Hopecrest Primary and Nursery School. We remain committed to providing an academically rigorous education to students and pupils who will walk out of school ready for lives of leadership and service to their community. From literacy to music and art, each day at the Hopecrest College, Primary & Nursery School is filled with activities that are both enriching and fun.

Main Activities (Summarized)

HOPECREST ACADEMY is established to provide Basic or Elementary education and High School education to pupils and students of all levels up to the SSS 3level as per the requirements of the Ministry of Education of the States and federal Republic of Nigeria.

Our elementary school arm (Hopecrest Primary and Nursery School) provides education to nursery and primary school pupils while Hopecrest College prepares students for national and international qualifications such as: National Examination Council (NECO); General Certificate of Education Examination(GCE O/Level and A/L); Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE); Joint Matriculation Examination Board Exams and the Cambridge International Examinations(IGCSE and Cambridge Pre-U).

The Academy started operations in September 2014. We have graduated students at all levels, with good success, for the past few years that we have started and we are growing stronger and stronger each year.

About Igboora

Our host community, Igboora, is a steadily growing community located in the Ibarapa Central Local Government Area, Oyo State, Southwest Nigeria, Africa.

Igboora is 42 km from Abeokuta, Ogun State, 80 km from Lagos, the commercial capital and nerve centre of Nigeria, and 160 km from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, the city that hosts the larget black population in Africa.

Igboora has a population of about 60,000 people based on the 2001 census.

The town of Igboora offers an excellent environment for learning, far removed from the hustling, bustling and the distractions of Nigerian mega cities. It affords a fantastic community for the educational preparation of the future leaders of Nigeria and the World at large.
